One crash and one arrest in the area counties are reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol for Thursday.
At about 9:20 pm in Linn County, Troopers arrested 31-year-old Michael Zink of Loveland, CO for alleged DWI – persistent offender and speeding. He was processed at the Linn County Sheriff’s Office and released.
At about 10:35 pm in Dekalb, County, a single-vehicle crash left a Cameron man with moderate injuries. According to the report, 68-year-old Dale L. Feese was northbound on Route C, 4 miles north of Cameron, and did not make it through a curve. His car ran off the west side of the road, struck a guard rail and warning sign, returned to the road and began to overturn, ejecting Feese. The car came to rest on top of Feese. He was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center and later flown to North Kansas City Hospital. He was not wearing a safety belt.
