Ninety-five calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Monday. Some of the calls include:
At 12:24 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible suicidal person in the 400 block of W. Polk St. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
At 10:27 a.m., a citizen arrived at the Police Department to provide information for an ongoing animal bite investigation.
At 12:01 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a speeding vehicle on Highland Ave. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle at that time.
At 2:19 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible suicidal person in the 1300 block of Monroe St. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
At 2:55 p.m., Officers responded to N. Washington St. at Park Ln. where a truck/trailer struck a traffic light causing damage and the light to malfunction. No injuries were reported.
At 3:44 p.m., Officers assisted Missouri Probation & Parole Officers with warrant service in the 600 block of S. Washington.
The department also handled several animal control calls.
