One arrest, one accident and a deer that was tangled in a fence are in the Chillicothe Police Department report for Friday.
12:20 am, Officer checked report of suspicious activity in 300 block of Calhoun St. Everything found to be OK.
5:30 am, Officers responded to Edgewood Cemetery in reference to a deer entangled in a fence. The deer had severe injuries from the fence and had to be put down.
2:30 pm, Dispatch Center receiving numerous 911 calls from children on a deactivated cell phone. Children were located and parents notified and reminded not to give children a cell phone as a toy unless the battery is removed..
5:10 pm, Officers received report of entry into a home by someone known to the resident and property removed. investigation continuing.
5:15 pm, Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury accident at Business 36 and South Washington. One of the drivers was cited for following too closely involving a traffic crash.
6:05 pm, Officers arrested Rebecca Roggenkamp of Chillicothe on a Caldwell County warrant for Probation violation. She was processed and then released to Caldwell County authorities.
6:20 pm, Officers performed a well-being check for the Kearney PD at a home in the 1100 block of Grandview. subject OK.
