Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

Eighty-four calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department Friday.  Some of the calls include:

7:33 AM, Officers responded to the 100 block of Washington Street for a report of trespassing, the subject had already left the area when officers arrived.  That person was later contacted and issued a warning.

9:03 AM, Officers responded to the 10 block of JFK for an odor of natural gas and a woman inside the home who was unresponsive. Officers contacted the woman who advised she was just taking a nap. The gas meter was separated from the residence and turned off by the Fire Department.

12:58 PM, Officers responded to the 800 block of Jansen Avenue on a report of theft.  The reporting person has mental medical condition and was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for a mental eval and to get assistance with getting back on their medication.

3:52 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Washington.  That led to the arrest of a man for Operating a Vehicle with No Valid License.  The man was processed and issued a citation before being released.

9:46 PM, Officers and EMS responded to the 2800 Hornet Road for a car vs. pedestrian accident. The Victim was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment and Officers contacted the driver.  The investigation is ongoing.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
