Driver Involved In Two Crashes Died – Two Left With Serious Injuries

Two related crashes on Interstate 35, Sunday morning, just north of Cameron left two with serious injuries and one driver who died.

State Troopers report the first crash happened at about 5:00 am as 38-year-old Luci Pineda of Farmington, MN was southbound and ran into the median.  She overcorrected and returned to the road, where the vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its top in the roadway.  The passengers were not wearing safety belts.  27-year-old Yerfri Salines of St. Paul, MN had serious Injuries and 27-year-old Nexy Escobar of St. Paul had minor injuries.

 

Following that crash, at about 5:05 am, Pineda exited the vehicle and was standing in the roadway when she and an infant child were struck by a southbound vehicle driven by 34-year-old Archie Seneh of Kansas City.

Pineda died at the scene of the crash, and the infant child had minor injuries

Seneh’s vehicle went into the median.  He was not injured in the crash.  One passenger in his vehicle, 56-year-old Lindie Seneh, was not wearing a safety belt and had serious injuries, while 36-year-old Regina Seneh was restrained and had moderate injuries.

All of the injured were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
