An alarm in the automotive area of a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street summoned Chillicothe Firefighters Friday evening. The call came in about 6:30 pm and the fire department arrived in one minute. They did a walk through from the automotive area, noting there was a smell of plastic burning.
They determined it was an electrical issue. CMU was called to check the power coming into the building and the business closed until an electrician was called and made the needed repairs.
Chillicothe Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour and 15 minutes.
