The Chillicothe Police Department report for the Labor Day weekend includes 169 calls for service from Saturday through Monday.
Saturday,
At 3:24 a.m., Officers were dispatched to trespassing in the 100 block of N. Washington St. Officers responded, contacted the person and informed them they needed to leave.
At 8:04 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 1100 block of Trenton St. Officers responded and contacted the person. The person was taken to the hospital for treatment and evaluation.
At 10:13 a.m., a business called the Police Department to provide Officers with information about counterfeit money.
At 2:46 p.m., Officers arrested a 50-year-old woman on a Livingston County warrant for driving while revoked/suspended after she turned herself in at the Police Department. She was unable to post the required bond and was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
At 7:13 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about possible stealing.
At 7:18 p.m., Officers took a report of property damage at Locust and Ann St.’s. The investigation is ongoing.
Sunday,
At 9:41 a.m., Officers attempted a traffic stop at N. Washington St. and Clay St. The vehicle failed to yield, but eventually stopped in the 400 block of S. Washington St. Officers arrested a 68-year-old woman for exceeding the posted speed limit and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. She was processed and released.
At 5:22 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a missing child in the 1100 block of Calhoun St. Officers responded, searched the area and found the child was okay and playing at a neighbor’s house.
Monday,
At 9:48 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle unknown-injury traffic crash on US 36. at St. Mitchell Ave. Officers responded and a report was taken. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
At 10:44 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about possible kidnapping. Officers spoke with the citizen and answered their questions.
At 2:15 p.m., Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked driver’s license, following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of N. Washington St. The man was processed and released.
At 4:45 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of N. Washington St. During the stop, the driver was identified as a juvenile, and Officers discovered a controlled substance. The juvenile was detained and later released to their parent with citations.
At 5:09 p.m., Officers arrested a 33-year-old man for operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated or drugged condition. The arrest followed a traffic stop at MO 190 and Mohawk Rd. He was processed and released.
