Deadlines are announced for the USDA – NRCS statewide sign-up for the 2025 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP). Landowners from Missouri may apply at any time, but to be considered for the 2025 IRA funding opportunities, you must complete applications, which must be received by the National cutoff dates for both Wetland Reserve Easements (WRE) and Agricultural Land Easements (ALE). Those dates are:
- October 4th – First batching period.
- December 20th – Second batching period.
Agricultural Land Easements help to protect croplands and grasslands on working farms and ranches by limiting non-agricultural uses of the land through conservation easements.
Wetland Reserve Easements help landowners protect, restore, and enhance wetlands which have been previously degraded due to agricultural uses.
