A Salisbury man is one of two injured in a single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County Monday evening. State Troopers report the crash happened about 7:00 pm on Highway B near Grandview, as 45-year-old William Temple of Dittmer was southbound and swerved to avoid a vehicle. He ran off the road and struck a tree. The report states Temple had moderate injuries and his passenger, 48-year-old Dana Tinker of Salisbury had minor injuries. They were taken to Mercy Hospital South. They were not wearing safety belts.
A Hamilton man was arrested by State Troopers in Caldwell County at about 6:00 pm Monday. The report states 39-year-old Daniel W. Martin was arrested on a warrant for alleged failure to appear. He is held pending the posting of bond.
