For the City of Browning, the ballot items are:
- Shall the City of Browning, Missouri, repeal a sales tax of one percent on the receipts from the sale at retail of all tangible property or taxable services at retail, subject to the sales tax imposed by the State of Missouri, and on residential utilities, with funds from said tax to be used exclusively for the financing of construction of a new fire station?
- Shall the City of Browning, Missouri, impose a sales tax of one percent (1%) on the receipts from the sale at retail of all tangible personal property or taxable services at retail, subject to the sales tax imposed by the State of Missouri, and on residential utilities, with the funds from said tax to be used exclusively for improvements to city buildings.
