Livingston County Library at 450 Locust St. in Chillicothe, and the Lillian DesMarias Youth Library at 917 Washington St., host the “Turn the Page” event on Tuesday, October 8th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at both facilities.
At the Livingston County Library, the event showcases the library’s brand-new NextGen new adult collection for ages 18-30 and newly added board and card game collection, designed to engage and inspire the community.
The Library will also be offering guided tours highlighting the facility’s resources every 15 minutes starting at 5 p.m. by the front desk.
Refreshments will be served in the second-floor courtroom.
At Lillian DesMarias Youth Library, the “Turn the Page” event features demonstrations of the Virtual Reality Robotic Kits, Vox Books, Tonie Boxes, STEM Kits, Cubelets and gaming will be showcased. Online resources, such as Lightbox Learning and Hoopla, will be featured.
Families are invited to partake in popcorn, balloons, and tour the facility to note the color-coded collections for ease of access.
