A Chula teen, 16 year old Ash Chappell, had minor injuries in a single vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Route V, three miles south of Chula. State Trooper report Chappell was northbound and lost control on a patch of ice. He over corrected and ran off the west side of the road and hit an embankment and his car overturned. He was wearing a safety belt and had minor injuries. He was taken to Hedrick medical center for treatment.
