One hundred thirteen calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department over the weekend. The calls include:
Saturday,
At 01:58 am Officers responded to Jenning’s Place for an assault that had taken place. A man arrived at the home, struck another man in the face and proceeded to left. Officers were able to gather the victim’s information and spoke with a witness to pursue charges.
At 09:36 pm Officers responded to the 500 block of Orchard for an assault. Two couples had been drinking and one of the men struck the other man. The victim refused medical attention on the scene.
Sunday,
At 01:09 pm Officers responded to the 1500 block of Bryan Street for a domestic disturbance between a 48-year-old woman and her mother. The 48-year-old woman was trespassed from the home and left. Nearly two hours later the woman returned. She was
was again instructed to leave and advised not to return.
At 03:21 pm Officers responded to the 1600 block of Springhill Road for the unattended death of a 42-year-old woman. The coroner’s office was called.
At 03:55 pm Officers responded to the Prison for a report of sexual assault. Officers were able to speak to the 34-year-old victim. The investigation continues.
At 07:52 pm Officer responded to a business on a report of 5 men tampering with a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers were able to locate the subjects and verified they owned the vehicle. The men were advised to leave the property.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
