The Livingston County Health Center Board of Trustees met for their regular monthly meeting. As part of the agenda, Director Sherry Weldon provided a brief discussion about the budget that will be presented at the November meeting.
Revenues will be down about $350,000 from the current budget.
She says expenses should also be down.
Work continues on the heating and AC, with AC coils still to be installed.
There has been no progress on the Incinerator.
Weldon says the health center has employees covered under LAGERS for retirement and they have four employees that could retire at about the same time. She says that could cause a financial shortage the health center would need to be reimbursed.
A deficit of $210,000.
That could be paid in a lump sum or over time. No further discussion was held on the subject.
The board did approve naming Dr. Chris Hulett an Honorary Board Member through his current term and a plaque would be placed at the Health Center at the end of the term.
