A Gallatin woman was seriously injured in a Daviess county crash late Thursday afternoon.
Seventy eight year old Sylvia Berry was traveling eastbound on US 69 at 122nd street, one mile east of Winston, just before 5 p.m. when her car traveled off the south side of the road. It struck a street sign, and then went airborne and overturned before coming to rest on its wheels facing northeast.
Berry was transported by community ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center, then later moved to Truman Medical Center via Life Flight. She was wearing a seat belt.
