Installation of a new HVAC system for the Chillicothe Municipal Utilities office was approved by the Board of Public Works. The board met in regular session and heard from the department heads. General Manager Matt Hopper says they received two bids to replace the current system.
Replace the air handler and heat pump system with three individual furnaces.
The winning bid was received from Botts and Tye totaling $58,892. Hopper says this project does not require City Council approval. The work will be done before the start of the cooling season.
Hopper also provided an update on the projects for the various departments.
