A three-vehicle crash Tuesday in Daviess County left a passenger in one of the vehicles with moderate injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred on Highway 13, about 4 ½ miles south of Gallatin at about 2:05 pm. According to the report, the driver of a southbound pick-up driven by a 52-year-old man from Gallatin attempted to turn east on Route M and struck a northbound vehicle driven by a 40-year-old woman from Gallatin. The woman’s vehicle was pushed into the front of a westbound vehicle that was stopped, driven by a 42-year-old woman from Chillicothe.
A male passenger in the vehicle that was struck, a 60-year-old man from Gallatin, had moderate injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
All three drivers and the passenger were wearing safety belts.
