Friday,
01:28 p.m., Officers responded to the 300 block of Webster St. for a male who had drank too much alcohol. Officers called for an ambulance.
02:11 p.m., Officers at the police department took a report from a citizen in the lobby about a fraud/scam. The investigation is ongoing.
02:55 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of E Bridge St. for a report of dogs killing chickens. Officers were able to capture the dogs. The investigation will be forwarded to Animal Control.
Saturday,
12:56 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 3rd St. and Washington St. During the stop the driver was identified and found to have an active Livingston County Arrest Warrant. The man was arrested. He posted bond and was released.
01:47 a.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Walnut St. for a report of a house on fire. Officers observed everyone had exited the residence. Officers assisted Chillicothe Fire Department with scene security.
10:03 a.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Washington St. and Green St. for a report of a 2 vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. 1 driver was cited for failure to yield.
11:23 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Broadway St. and Trenton Rd. The stop resulted in the driver being arrested for driving while intoxicated. The male driver was later released with a citation.
Saturday,
01:57 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Hill St. and 3rd St. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was later released with a citation.
11:00 a.m., Officers responded to the 1200 block of Washington St. for a report of a stolen electric cart. Officers located the cart and the suspect.
11:58 a.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Washington St and Park Ln. for a report of a 2 vehicle crash.
01:22 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. for a report of an unattended child in a business. Officers were able to assist in locating the parents.
05:30 p.m., Officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington St. for a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers determined it was not intentional and not lethal. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.
