           Bobby Dale Maberry 91, of Liberty, Missouri, formally of Wheeling, passed away on November 30th, 2024 at Liberty Hospital. Bob was born on August 15th, 1933 in his parent’s home near Dawn, Missouri. His parents, James O. Maberry and Reva Ellen Perry Maberry loved him with all their hearts.

 

            After high school, he joined the Army and proudly served during the Korean War. After he returned home Bobby worked as the foreman at Ready Mix Concrete Plant in Chillicothe for several years, and then he worked as a crane operator for Operating Engineers Union 101.

 

            In 1953 he married Wilma Glenndoris Conner and shared a beautiful life together until her passing in 1997. Later Bobby married Dottie McQueen Yeomans.

 

            Bob, was a member of Wheeling Christian Church and also served on the Wheeling School Board for several years. He enjoyed sports, spending time in the timber, working with the Summer Playground, helping with the Wheeling Homecoming, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

 

            Bobby is survived by his wife, Dottie Maberry, his two sons, David R. Maberry and his wife Joy Maberry of Meadville, and Edward L. (Ed) Maberry and his wife Katie Maberry of Chillicothe. His six grandchildren, Brooke Mauzey and her husband Matt, Meagan Fletcher with her husband Jared, Hillary Bigham and her husband Braden, Amber Maberry Sprague with husband Derrick, Tyler Maberry with wife Jessica, and Hallie Maberry. His two step-daughters, Thersa Schulte with her husband Steve, and Cheryl Bennett and her husband Jeff. Four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Salzman husband Jake, John Schulte wife Jennifer, Katie Lemberger husband Paul, and Jessica Temple and her husband Greg. Bobby is also survived by his sister, June Lazure of Great Falls, Mt, and brother Tom Maberry of Harrisonville, Mo. As well as several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

 

            He is preceded by his parents, James and Reva Maberry, his wife, Glenndoris Maberry, his son, Mike Maberry, and his two brother, Dick Maberry and Bill Maberry.

 

            Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at the Wheeling Christian Church with burial at Blue Mound Cemetery.

 

            Memorials in honor of Bobby Maberry may be made to Blue Mound Cemetery.
