05:09 p.m., Officers at the police department took a report of a vehicle stolen. The vehicle was entered as stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
05:53 p.m., Officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington St. for a death investigation. The investigation is continuing.
09:52 p.m., Officers responded to the 900 block of Shagbark Dr. for a citizen who came home and found their door open. Officers checked the residence and found nothing.
Saturday,
01:06 p.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of Williams St. for a report of a fight in progress. Officers arrived and diffused the situation. An investigation is ongoing.
04:54 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection Polk St. and Washington St. for a 2-vehicle crash.
10:44 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 2nd St. and Slack St. As a result of the stop, a male passenger was arrested on four Livingston County arrest warrants. The female driver was also arrested for driving with a revoked driver’s license. She was later cited and released. The man was unable to post bond and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

10:32 a.m., Officers responded to the 600 block of W Business 36 highway for a private property 2-vehicle crash. No report was taken.
12:16 p.m., Officers responded to the 600 block of Washington St. for a rabid racoon in the doorway of a business. Officers secured the racoon.
07:29 p.m., Officers responded to the 1400 block of Fair St. for a report of a minor 2-vehicle crash.
