Canadian Pacific Railroad made their first ever stop in Chillicothe on Monday afternoon. The train arrived at 3:45 and at 4:00 pm, they stage came down and two band performed for a sizeable crowd for about 30 minutes. Many who were at the event brought food donations for the House of Prayer food shelf. Andy Cummings from Canadian Pacific Railroad says he was very pleased with the turnout. He says they were also very happy to see the amount of donations collected on site.
As part of the stop, Cummings says they made a donation to the food shelf.
Cummings says this was their first stop in Chillicothe for the Holiday Train, and they look forward to returning.
From Chillicothe, the train made it’s way to Kansas City for their first stop at that location as well.
