The annual Chillicothe R-II Teacher of the Year and Beacon awards ceremony was canceled due to the weather on January 6th. As a result, the winners will not be announced until the annual Chillicothe Education Foundation fundraising dinner on February 5th.

The Chillicothe School District has presented years of service pins. This year that included Mandy James and Kim Bloss with 25 years and Julia Reeter and Debra Shafer with 30 years of service.
