Active Shooter Training Monday At Chillicothe High School

The Chillicothe R-II School District will have Active Shooter Response Training at the High School on Monday afternoon.  Students will not have classes on Monday as it is a Professional Development Day.

The active shooter response training will include Chillicothe, Livingston County, and Missouri agencies.  Participating agencies will include the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Chillicothe Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Conservation, Chillicothe Fire Department, and Hedrick Medical Center.

This training will simulate an actual emergency to practice and evaluate response plans and will take place during the afternoon.

The public may notice numerous emergency response vehicles at the site and public access will be restricted during the training.  Livingston County Road and Bridge reports LIV 239 and Hornet Road will be closed during the exercise.
