A Winter Storm Warning is issued for northern and central Missouri as a winter snow storm moves into the area late tonight and continues through Wednesday. Meteorologist Randall Collier with the National Weather Service says moderate to heavy snowfall can be expected with this system.

Collier says wind should not be a factor with the snow, but will likely result in wind chills near or below zero.
He says travel will be affected.
