Two injury accidents in the area counties were investigated by State Troopers Tuesday.
At about 8:20 am in Livingston County, a crash involving a pick-up and a semi left a pedestrian with minor injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred at 7329 US 65, just north of Chillicothe, when a semi was parked and began to roll forward, striking a pick-up that was not occupied. The pick-up was pushed onto a sidewalk and struck a 42-year-old man before hitting a building. The pedestrian had minor injuries and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
At about 11:30 am in Daviess County, a single-vehicle crash left the driver with minor injuries. State Troopers report the 16-year-old driver from McFall was northbound on Route AA, south of McFall, when he ran off the road and struck the ground. He was checked by EMS and refused transport.
Two arrests in the area counties are reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol for Tuesday.
At about 2:00 pm in Daviess County, Troopers arrested 39-year-old Charles D. Turner of Jamesport for alleged Driving While Revoked and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold.
At about 3:29 pm in Sullivan County, Troopers arrested 22-year-old Austin C. Peterson of New Boston for alleged DWI. He was processed and released.
