Trenton was hot from the three point line and used a good defense to beat Chillicothe 60 to 50. Trenton hit seven treys and went 17 of 21 at the free throw line to help in the 10 point win.
Coach Darrin Smith said there is still work to do to improve his team.
Chillicothe got to with in three points midway through the fourth quarter but could get no closer in the game.
Chillicothe was led by Jordan Hibner with 14 points, Kennedie Kieffer with 12, Laney Gaston with 11, Hunter Keithley with six, Maggie Pfaff with four, Magy Thomas with three and playing time for several others.
Trenton was led by Ainsley Tolson with 23, Mykah Hurley with 17 and Maci Moore with 14 points.
Chillicothe falls to 3-2 and Trenton improves to 6-0.
