Chillicothe Police Report For Friday – Sunday

One-hundred-eighty-two calls were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday,

09:07 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mitchell and Business 36, resulting in the arrest of a revoked driver. They were cited, processed, and released.

Saturday,

01:41 PM Officers contacted a suspicious man near US 36 and US 65. The person advised they were homeless and were leaving town.  A short time later, a person was reported missing from a group home in the 1300 block of Monroe. It was determined to be the person officers had contacted earlier in the day near HWY 36. He was located and returned home.

08:59 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Corporate and Mitchell which resulted in the arrest of a man for driving while suspended. He was processed and released.

10:52 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Paul Street resulting in the arrest of a man for DWI. Hew was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Sunday,

11:15 Am Officers responded to the 100 block of Virginia Ave for a person in crisis. The person accepted help and was taken to a medical facility for treatment.

04:23 PM Officers responded to the 200 block of Mack after drugs and paraphernalia were located by a citizen. Officers gathered the contraband and will investigate where it came from.

 

04:35 PM Officers on patrol heard what sounded like an explosion in the 200 block of E Jackson Street.  They responded and found smoke and the remains of a makeshift explosive in the roadway. The Fire Marshal’s Office was called and assisted officers with processing the crime scene. The investigation continues.

06:17 PM Officers in the area of Orchard and E Jackson, while processing a crime scene from earlier, observed a woman walk into an adjacent parking lot and begin relieving herself.  She was determined to be intoxicated and was cited.

08:00 PM Officers responded to the 1100 block of Bryan for a domestic disturbance. Officers determined a man was trespassing and will be charged.
