Eighty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
At 2:05 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle traffic crash, where a vehicle struck a building, in the 100 block of Business 36. No injuries were reported; a report was taken.
At 3:01 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a well-being check on Locust St. Officers responded, located the person and a family member was contacted who assisted.
At 3:28 p.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 600 block of Clay St. The investigation is ongoing.
At 7:32 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report the traffic lights were out at N. Washington and Webster St.’s. Officers responded and discovered the power was back on and they appeared to be functioning normally.
At 7:33 p.m., Officers took a report of leaving the scene of a crash at W. Polk and Easton St.’s. The vehicle struck a utility pole causing power outages. Officers later located the driver, who was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and no proof of insurance. CMU was contacted and resolved the power outages.
