Friday,
At 04:45 pm Officers spoke with a woman about a scam. She was contacted by an unknown party and advised her social security number had been stolen, and a warrant would be issued for the woman’s arrest unless certain steps were followed. Officers were able to inform and advise the woman to prevent her from falling victim to the scammers.
Saturday,
At 09:32 am Officers spoke to a 74-year-old man and his daughter about a domestic assault that had taken place between the man and his wife. The man was assaulted resulting in him falling off a step and onto a concrete floor resulting in lacerations to his left arm. Charges are pending at this time.
At 12:46 pm Officers responded to the 1400 block of Forest Drive on a report of a juvenile subject riding a minibike at dangerous speeds down the roadway. Officers were able to make contact with the juvenile and a parent and advised them of the city ordinance.
At 03:30 pm Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street on a report of assault. Officers spoke to the 33-year-old victim to gather information. The suspect had left the scene before the Officers’ arrival. The suspect has been identified, and the investigation continues.
At 10:17 pm Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Washington Street. During the stop, Officers arrested a 40-year-old man on a warrant and transported him to the Chillicothe Police Department. He was processed, posted bond, and was later released.
Sunday,
At 06:30 pm Officers responded to the 500 block of West Mohawk Road on a report of harassment. Officers located the 66-year-old man and verified the altercation was verbal. Neither victim wanted to pursue charges, the man was removed from the Green Hills Golf Course and told to not return.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
