Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Eighty-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

At 8:43 a.m., Officers towed an illegally parked and abandoned vehicle at Danner Park.

At 9:34 a.m., the Animal Control Officers responded to possible animal neglect in the 400 block of Vine St. The investigation is ongoing.

At 2:26 p.m., Officers responded with the Chillicothe Fire Department to a fire alarm in the 700 block of Clay St. this was a false alarm.

At 2:28 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle crash at Simpson Park. Officers took a report.

At 4:12 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a commercial business alarm in the 1300 block of Third St. Officers responded and discovered there was no emergency. The key holder was contacted.

At 5:49 p.m., Officers took a report of harassment in the 100 block of Trenton Rd. The investigation is ongoing.

At 6:02 p.m., Officers were dispatched to children playing on the street at Third and Hickory St.’s. Officers responded, contacted the children, and educated them about the dangers of playing in the street.

At 7:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible threats in the 1700 block of Morningside Dr. Officers discovered a person suffering from dementia-like symptoms was calling the Police Department. The care facility stated they would assist the resident.

Officers conducted traffic stops and business checks.
