Chillicothe Police officers responded to 103 calls for service Tuesday. Some of the calls include:
Officers responded to alarms at a home and a business.
At 09:12 am Officers spoke with a woman in the lobby about being harassed by a person from another investigation. A report was taken for tampering with a victim and harassment. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
At 09:44 am Animal Control responded to the 1000 block of McNally Street in reference to a report of animal abuse and neglect. Animal Control is currently investigating the allegations to ensure the safety and well-being of multiple animals involved.
At 01:04 pm Officers were called to the 800 block of South Washington Street for a man walking around with an AR style rifle. Officers made contact and found the man to be well within his rights to carry the rifle. No violations were observed, and no threat was presented.
At 01:39 pm Officers responded to the 1200 block of Green Street to remove a man from the property. The man left the property without incident and was told not to return.
At 05:59 pm Officers responded to the 1700 block of Hickory Drive on a domestic dispute between a 40-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman. The man was arrested for domestic assault resulting in minor injuries to the woman.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
