Timothy Hugh Bosler, age 81, a resident of Mooresville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his residence. surrounded by his family.

 

Tim was born December 21, 1943, in Mexico, Mo to Claude Hawkins and Bonnie Rose (Walz) Bosler. In his early childhood the family moved to Mooresville, Mo, returning to the family farm where his mother was born. Tim attended school in Mooresville and graduated from Southwest R1 school. After graduation he attended William Jewell College, Central Missouri State University, and then joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii as an airplane mechanic. After his time in the service he completed his undergraduate degree in Weatherford, Texas. He then went on to complete his law degree at UMKC School of Law graduating in December of 1972 and passing the bar exam in April 1973. Tim practiced law in Liberty and Chillicothe.

 

Tim was united in marriage to Hazel Morrow on March 5, 1976, at the First Presbyterian Church in Liberty. They spent 49 years together having one child, TH Bosler, Jr. The family lived in Liberty until Tim and Hazel made their way back to Mooresville to the family farm in 1997. Survivors include his wife Hazel, son TH and daughter-in-law Cara and his grandson Cale as well as many other family members and friends.

 

Tim was a 32nd Degree Master Mason and Past Master of the Chillicothe Lodge. He served as Potentate of Moila Shrine in St. Joseph, Mo in 2009.

 

He was a long time member of the Concerned Citizens of Livingston County and was involved in many organizations and activities. Tim was a lover of animals raising and training dogs and horses for a number of years.

 

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. A Masonic service will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., with visitation to follow from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Utica Cemetery, Utica, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Concerned Citizens of Livingston County and/or Shriners Hospital for Children and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
