The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 74 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
Early in the morning, officers responded to a disturbance at a convenience store involving an intoxicated man who had left before officers arrived. Later, a missing person case was resolved when a woman from Massachusetts checked in at the police station to confirm her safety.
Authorities also investigated reports of a swerving driver on Highway 65 and followed up on a fraud case involving a $17,000 fraudulent loan. Officers responded to a complaint of illegal dumping on Clay Street.
Welfare checks were conducted, including one involving a 14-year-old, and multiple business checks turned up no issues. A person with an active warrant turned themselves in voluntarily.
