One hundred calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man for sexual misconduct. He was processed and released pending a court date. A 52-year-old man was also arrested for animal neglect and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold. Later in the day, a 35-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop for driving with a suspended license. He was released pending a court appearance.
Officers handled several other calls, including possible narcotics found on North Washington Street, a dog running loose on Derringer Drive, a well-being check on Wise Street, and a parking complaint near East Herriman and Collier.
