Accidents in Chariton and Caldwell Counties left two with minor injuries Thursday.
At about 9:45 am in Chariton County, Troopers investigate a two-vehicle crash on US 24 in Salisbury. A 46-year-old man from Huntsville was northbound and attempted to make a left turn, striking an eastbound vehicle driven by a 32-year-old woman from Keytesville. The man had minor injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment. The woman was not injured.
At about 9:30 pm in Caldwell County, Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route E, near Route M. According to the report, a motorcycle driven by a 19-year-old man from Auxvasse was eastbound and struck a deer. He ran off the left side of the road. He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
