A single vehicle crash in Linn County Sunday night left two injured. State Troopers report the crash occurred on Husk Road, a mile west of Brookfield, as a 28-year-old woman from Chillicothe was westbound at about 10:50 pm and swerved to avoid a deer. Her vehicle went off the road and overturned.
The driver was wearing a safety belt and had minor injuries. She refused treatment at the scene.
The passenger, a 48-year-old man from Brookfield, was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment.
