Chillicothe Police were busy Wednesday with several investigations.
12:15 am, Officers did a well being check in the 900 block of Locust Street. Everything was ok.
6:25 am, A traffic hazard was reported on N. Washington near Harvest Drive. Officers found a vehicle registered to a Trenton resident abandoned in a traffic lane. The vehicle was towed.
9:34 am, Officer recovered items found in the 500 block of First St. The owner was identified and contacted.
10:42 am, Officer continued a theft investigation in the 1400 block of Polk Street. The owner said more was missing than previously reported.
11:58 am, Officers responded to a report of kids shooting air rifles at vehicles in the area of Cherry and Walnut Streets. The kids could not be found.
1:00 pm, A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of Grandview Ave. The incident was verbal and one person left the scene. No arrests were made.
2:30 pm, Responded to 1400 block of Calhoun Street on a report of destruction of someone’s personal property. They found no issues.
2:40 pm, Traffic crash was reported in the 1700 block of Morningside Drive… A vehicle backed into a parked vehicle on Morningside Drive causing extensive damage to the parked vehicle. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
4:55 pm, Responded to a report of someone making threats to harm themselves. The person was located and transported for evaluation.
7:00 pm, Assisted fire department with small fire in 300 block of Wilson Street.
