Carrollton resident Jay Dee Shirley has appeared in Livingston County court on three counts of alleged 4th degree assault. Arraignment was held and Shirley entered a plea of not guilty. Shirley also had a bond hearing on two counts of alleged sexual contact with a student. Bond was amended in both cases to his own recognizance, GPS House Arrest, he is to stay on the farm, and not be in Chillicothe except for Court and Supervision Services.
His next appearance is set for December 18th for plea and trial setting.
