The Chillicothe Police Department was busy Thursday with more than 100 calls for service.
1:05 am, Officers assisted another agency by obtaining evidence at Hedrick Medical Center, for an assault that had occurred in their jurisdiction.
7:20 am, the School Resource Officer was contact in the 1200 block of Clay St. about child not wanting to go to school.
10:00am, Railroad Crossing arm at Jackson Street malfunctioned and struck a vehicle that was passing through the crossing. Minor damage was reported for the vehicle and the railroad was contacted.
10:30 am, Officer responded to a report of possible child abuse in the 900 block of Dickinson Street. Investigation continuing.
3:10 pm, Officers made an arrest on a Caldwell County warrant in the 100 block of Herriman St. Rodney Eugene Williams was arrested and later transported to Caldwell County.
11:24pm, Domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Deringer. Suspect had left residence prior to Officer’s arrival. The investigation is continuing.
