The Chillicothe Mudcats will help with projects at Shaffer Park again this year. At the Mudcat First Pitch event, Butch Shaffer from the Mudcat organization said they received a $10,000 check from the Chillicothe Development Corporation.
In the past, the funds have been used for anything from new bullpens to playground equipment at the ball park.
