Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Eighty-nine calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday.  Some of the calls include:

At 2:03 a.m., Officers were dispatched to check for a vehicle possibly involved in leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash which occurred in another jurisdiction. Officers checked several locations but were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 10:56 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a person in crisis in the 1800 block of Borden St. Officers contacted the person who was transported to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.

At 11:54 a.m., Officers took a report of a deceased person in the 1200 block of Alexander St. The death appears to be of natural causes. The investigation is ongoing.

At 12:38 p.m., at the Police Department, Officers arrested a 60-year-old male on a warrant out of Oklahoma for contempt of court.  He was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center (CCDC) to await extradition.

At 3:19 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at John F. Kennedy Ave. and Easton St.

At 3:48 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Alexander St. Officers responded and discovered a person in mental health crisis. The person who was transported to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.
