Storm Spotter training from the National Weather Service takes place over the next several weeks in the area counties. The free program is offered in the area to give anyone interested in storm spotting or better understanding severe weather, an opportunity to hear from the experts on what to look for and what you should do in the event of severe weather. The scheduled includes:
February 21st at 7:00 pm in Caldwell County at the Church of the Nazarene in Kingston.
February 28th at 7:00 pm in Chariton County at the Salisbury Ambulance Base
March 4th at 6:00 pm at the Grundy County Courthouse in Trenton
March 7th at 7:00 pm in Livingston County at the Calvary Baptist Church Family Life Center in Chillicothe
March 13th at 7:00 pm at the Rupe Center in Carrollton
Anyone interested in learning more about weather or storm spotting is encouraged to attend.
