Pipe Welding will be offered at Grand River Tech. Superintendent Dr Roger Barnes says the Chillicothe R-II School Board approved adding the specialty to the welding program as they ad a new full time instructor.
Barnes says they plan to also offer the Pipe Welding as a Community Education class and with that offering it should pay for the upgrades.
GRTS hopes to offer that program very soon.
