Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe will inspect the Grand River Bridge on US 65, just south of Chillicothe Monday at about 12:30 pm. The visit is part of Governor Parson’s proposed plan to repair or replace 250 of the state’s poor bridges.
Others expected at the event are the MoDOT Deputy Director/Chief Engineer and local officials. The Lieutenant Governor will get a first-hand look at the deteriorating structure and then will address the media and others in attendance.
Parking will be north of the bridge along the Coval Gann River Access road.
