The Chillicothe City Council will have a finance workshop and regular meeting on Monday. The Finance meeting begins at 5:30 and includes discussions on City Finances and the 2019/20 city budget.
The Regular meeting of the City Council will begin at 6:30 in Council chambers and begins with the finances, including a request from the Police Department to purchase a CVSA (Computer Voice Stress Analysis) machine.
Appearances on the agenda include the introduction of the new Part Time Police Officer and the new Dispatcher.
Annual reports and budget requests will be presented by the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chillicothe Area Arts Council.
City Administrator Darin Chappell will present a resolution for the allocation of the 2019/20 Sales Tax.
And City Attorney Robert Cowherd will lead a discussion on changes to city laws and ordinances as a result of the passage of Missouri’s Medical Marijuana Law.
An executive session is planned following the regular meeting.
