A request to waive fees for the remodeling and renovation of the Grand River Multipurpose Center was rejected by the Chillicothe City Council. Mayor’s Board Appointment Recommendation Approved
A member of the Planning and Zoning Commission will serve on the Historic Preservation Commission. Mayor Theresa Kelly requested approval of Corrine Watts to serve on the board. The Council approved the appointment with a vote of 4-0.
Zoning Changes Approved
Changes to zoning for the Dewey School and Field School properties were approved at Monday’s Chillicothe City Council meeting. In separate actions, the council approved zoning changes from P1 – Public Use to R3 – Residential -multifamily units. Votes were 4-0 on each request.
Glasgow Man Arrested For Alleged Sex Crimes
A Glasgow man was arrested by State Troopers at about 1:45 pm Monday. The report states 18 year old Cameron J. Hunter of Glasgow was arrested for alleged rape and sexual abuse. He is held at the Macon County Jail.
