CMU’s Budget Includes A New Refuse Truck

The 2019/20 budget for the Chillicothe Municipal Utilities includes a new refuse truck and General Manager Jim Gillilan says that truck will arrive very quickly in this budget year. Gillilan says the Refuse Department has four packer trucks, so every other year they try to replace one of the trucks to stay on their schedule.

Jamesport Man Arrested In Dekalb County

A Jamesport man was arrested in Dekalb County Tuesday morning.  State Troopers arrested 57 year old Jerry King at about 8:45 am for alleged no drivers license, no signal, failing to register a vehicle and no insurance.  He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
