The Chillicothe R-II School District is back in the black. Superintendent Dan Wiebers told the school board Tuesday that they received a large payment from the county for personal property and real estate taxes received. Additional funds will be received throughout the year as the late tax payments are made.

Ballot Language Approved For R-II Tax Levy Question
The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved the ballot language for the April 7th election. The board is moving forward with the request for an increase in the district’s tax levy. Superintendent Dan Wiebers read the language that will appear on the ballot. The vote on the resolution to approve the ballot language was unanimous.
