The USDA levee repair program for Livingston County will be administered through the County courthouse. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says the UDA has now released the money and will meet with area levee owners about the repairs. Douglas says Dennis Speichinger will meet with affected landowners starting this week.
He says unlike the FEMA programs, the USDA does not reimburse for work already completed.
