With the Thanksgiving holiday on a Thursday, the Chillicothe Municipal Utilities Refuse Department will have Thursday and Friday off this week. Refuse Manager Troy Figg says that means some changes in trash pick-up this week and next Monday. Figg says they will have a similar schedule at Christmas.

State Troopers investigated three injury accidents in the area counties and report two arrests for the area over the weekend. Sunday at about 5:15 pm on Highway 6 near Jamesport, a single-vehicle accident left a 14-year-old with minor injuries.
